A lover of monsters and wonderful food, Rachel Harrison lives in Nottinghamshire, UK. Most famous for her Warhammer 40,000 stories, which include 'Dishonoured,' 'The Third War,' 'Binding,' and 'The Blooding' for Black Library, as well as the recently published short story 'Execution,' Rachel enjoys mixing monsters, wounds that won’t heal, dichotomies, and dystopia to create her unique brand of fiction.
Robbie MacNiven is a Scottish author and historian. His published fiction includes over a dozen novels, many fantasy or sci-fi works for IPs such as Marvel’s X-Men and Warhammer 40,000. He has also written two novellas, numerous short stories and audio dramas, has worked on narrative and character dialogue for multiple digital games (SMITE: Blitz and Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground), has written the colour text for multiple RPG rulebooks and has penned the scripts for two graphic novels and two comics, for Osprey Publishing and Commando Comics respectively. In 2022 his X-Men novel “First Team” won a Scribe Award.
On the non-fiction front, Robbie specialises in Early Modern military history, particularly focussing on the 18th century. He has a PhD in American Revolutionary War massacres from the University of Edinburgh – where he won the Compton Prize for American History – and an MLitt in War Studies from the University of Glasgow. Along with numerous articles for military history magazines he has written five books on different aspects of the American Revolutionary War, four for Osprey Publishing and one for Helion Books. He has also written the scripts for nine episodes of the hit YouTube educational channel Extra Credits.
Phil Kelly is the author of the Warhammer 40,000 novel Farsight: Crisis of Faith, the Space Marine Conquests novel War of Secrets, the Space Marine Battles novel Blades of Damocles and the novellas Farsight and Blood Oath. For Warhammer he has written the titles Sigmar's Blood and Dreadfleet. He has also written a number of short stories. He has worked as a background writer for Games Workshop, crafting the worlds of Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000. He is currently the Creative Lead at Games Workshop. He lives in Nottingham.
Gav Thorpe is a British author, game developer, and former games developer at Games Workshop, best known for his work in the Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 universes. He has written numerous novels for Black Library, including the Horus Heresy series, and is a New York Times bestselling author. He also won the 2017 David Gemmell Legend Award for his novel Warbeast.
Guy Haley (born June 6, 1973) is an English writer of speculative fiction, predominantly known for his Richards & Klein Investigations series, as well as numerous fiction contributions to various Warhammer 40,000 series.
Haley has contributed over 30 works to the greater Warhammer universe, with another 50 works to the following Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Fantasy (setting), and Warhammer Age of Sigmar series
Graham McNeill worked for Games Workshop between 2000 and 2006 as a games developer and a background material writer. As well as writing for White Dwarf, he worked on several codexes including the Tau, Necrons, Witch Hunters, Space Marines and Black Templars. After leaving Games Workshop in 2006 he became a freelance writer, but currently continues to produce novels for Black Library
His Horus Heresy novel, A Thousand Sons, was a New York Times bestseller, and the second book in his Sigmar trilogy, Empire, won the 2010 David Gemmell Legend Award for best fantasy novel.
